Lustrumsymposium

Op 14 april hebben we met onverdeelde aandacht geluisterd naar drie mooie, leuke, interessante en indrukwekkende verhalen! De aanwezige sprekers waren:

Xena Wimmenhoeve: Zij heeft verteld over hoe ze om is gegaan met de tegenslagen in haar leven en hoe ze uiteindelijk topsporter en meervoudig kampioen, o.a. paralympisch goud in Tokio, in rolstoelbasketbal is geworden! Met haar verhaal heeft ze veel Softies geraakt en geïnspireerd.

Onno Moller: Als drievoudig Softijsbestuurslid in het begin van de jaren ’90 heeft Onno ons verteld over de beginjaren van Softijs. Heel leuk om te horen dat ondanks dat er veel veranderd is, er ook nog steeds veel hetzelfde is gebleven!

Aiso van Leeuwe: Deze kersverse historicus heeft ons mee terug genomen in de tijd en verteld over kaapvaardij, piraterij en over het ontstaan modern imperialisme. Het onderwerp was niet bij iedereen even bekend, maar daardoor extra leuk dat het op deze toegankelijke en soms ook grappige manier verteld werd!

Het was een geslaagde avond!

Gala

Op 11 maart vond het Lustrumgala de U.S.S.V. Softijs plaats! We zijn gaan varen door het mooie Utrecht en werd er heerlijk gedineerd in Utrecht! Kijk hier of hier voor de foto’s hier!

Hoge Hoeden Club

Komend jaar zullen door de lustrumcommissie verschillende activiteiten worden georganiseerd. Hierbij kunnen we alle beetjes hulp natuurlijk goed gebruiken. Dit is de reden dat de Hoge Hoeden Club in het leven is geroepen. Om tot de Hoge Hoeden Club toe te treden vroegen we een eenmalige donatie van €35,-. Er is een groep ontstaan van 21 enthousiaste Softies die een aantal leuke exclusieve extra’s krijgen om het lustrumjaar net een beetje specialer te maken.

Lustrum Sportshirt en Trui

Naast het organiseren van activiteiten houdt de Lustrumcommissie zich ook druk bezig met het ontwerpen van merch. Het eerste exclusieve merch-item wordt inmiddels al trots gedragen, namelijk het Lustrum Sportshirt! Daarnaast is de Lustrum Trui in de verkoop gegaan, al het goed is zullen die ergens in de week van de Lustrumtraining bezorgd worden!

Hidde’s Hersenspinsels

Een spiksplinternieuw concept, voor het eerst vertoond: een podcast door, voor en over Softijs! Met als host Hidde van de Beek zullen er verschillende gasten worden uitgenodigd en zal er van alles besproken worden! Opinies, satire (veel satire), inzichten, spanning, clashes, politiek, intriges, roddels, kennis, intellect, alcohol, eten, terugkomende items, liefde, emotie en nog zoveel meer. Het blijven hersenspinsels, dus niet alles zal geheel op feiten gebaseerd zijn, dus neem het vooral niet te serieus, met een lekker korreltje zout, maar laat je ongezouten mening vooral horen!
