Interval Training
Monday 19:00 – 21:00h
On Monday there is an interval workout from Olympos, for both beginners and advanced runners! This training will offer a varied, fun and challenging way to focus on your own or a joint training goal. Or just join once for fun! We gather at the parking at Bolognalaan.
Bicycle Training
Tuesday 19:00 – 21:00h (in April and after the summer break (August, September) 18:30 to 20:30h)
On Tuesday there is the cycling training starting from Galgenwaard stadium and will be a lap around Utrecht. This training is, just like the skating training, accessible to all levels. Also on the steel roadbike of your grandfather you can attend this training! A helmet is mandatory. In addition, at the beginning and end of the summer also highly recommended to take lights for on your bike, it gets dark earlier than you think, especially in certain areas. As we ride in groups, it is important that the bike rules are respected so that we minimize the risk of accidents.
Strenght/technique training
Wednesday 19:00 – 21:00h
On Wednesday there is the stength/technique training on Olympos. During this training running will be alternated with various skating specific exercises. This is also the most attended summer training and ideal to keep in touch with your skate buddies. We gather at the parking at Bolognalaan.
Inline skating training
Thursday 19:00 – 20:30h (in April and after the summer break (August, September) 18:30 – 20: 00h)
On Thursday, an inline skating training will take place at the skating track in Overvecht. Inline skating is the most speed skating specific training when there is no ice and therefore very suitable for training the muscles used in speed skating. The training takes place on the track in Overvecht, behind Gageldijk 12 and adjacent to the St. Anthoniedijk 120. The training will begin at 19:00h. A helmet is mandatory!
